In a recent interview with radio station Triple J, Australian synth lords Cut Copy shed a little light on their follow up album to last years highly successful ‘In Ghost Colours’.
“It’s kind of funny, I think after the first record we felt like we could do anything and after the last one, we sort of had a lot more success internationally and there’s more expectations…I think really it’s a matter of coming back down to earth and rediscovering what we’re excited about, rather than worrying too much about other people’s expectations of the music. We’ve just sort of retreated back into our studios and started tinkering a little bit.”
No word on when the new release will drop but rumors suggest it may see the slight of day in the first half of 2010.
