Crash Test Dummies Plot First Australian Tour Since 1992

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm… remember that tune? The band behind who released the smash hit, Crash Test Dummies, are returning to Australia for the first time since 1992 in March and April 2025.

Coming back down under in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their iconic album, God Shuffled His Feet, as part of the anniversary celebration world tour, the Canadian rockers are set to play the album in its entirety as well as other hits like Superman’s Song and The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead.

Of course, fans will hear the lead single from God Shuffled His Feet, Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, an ARIA #1 single.

The band’s tour begins at Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Friday, 28 March, before heading to Adelaide’s The Gov (Sunday, 30 March), Brisbane’s The Triffid (Thursday, 3 April), Sydney’s Manning Bar (Friday, 4 April), and ends at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, 5 April. They’ll also play in New Zealand for the first time, with a date booked at Auckland’s Powerstation on Wednesday, 9 April.

On Instagram, the band said of the forthcoming tour, “The big news is finally here... Crash Test Dummies are coming to Australia (first time since 1992!) and New Zealand (first time EVER!).”

Fans can purchase pre-sale tickets from 10 am this Friday (16 August) before the general sale opens at 10 am local time on Monday, 19 August. You can find tickets on the Metropolis Touring website.

Crash Test Dummies are currently touring with their original line-up – Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts and Mitch Dorge – after reuniting in 2017. They’ve consistently toured since then.

To date, Crash Test Dummies have released six albums: 1991’s The Ghosts That Haunt Me, 1993’s God Shuffled His Feet, 2001’s I Don’t Care That You Don’t Mind, 2003’s Puss ‘n’ Boots, 2004’s Songs Of The Unforgiven, and 2010’s Oooh La La!
