Tour Cancelled: No Visa For Coolio?

No matter why he's not allowed here, he ain't coming.

More Coolio Coolio

This week's scheduled tour for '90s hip hop icon Coolio has been cancelled after the artist was reportedly unable to receive the proper clearance to enter the country.

theMusic was first told that the rap star would not be making an appearance last week, but the tour's promoters Novel have refused to confirm, deny or provide any further information about the reported cancellation after numerous requests.

Most famous for his 1995 hit Gangsta's Paradise, Coolio was forced to cancel a tour of Australia back in 2009 after being arrested for possession of cocaine at Los Angeles International Airport.

Coolio was most recently here for the Falls Festivals over the New Year's period, but since then was charged with battery  after allegedly pushing the mother of his young son, Anabella Chapman, to the ground and punching her in the face with a closed fist in April of this year.

Gangsta's Paradise recently polled at number 85 in triple j's Hottest 100 of the past 20 years.
