Converge ProfileTour promoters Destroy All Lines are introducing a new music festival in March 2027, and it’s headlined by none other than metalcore pioneers Converge.
The inaugural Lucidity Festival touches down at the Melbourne Pavilion on Saturday, 13 March. Alongside Converge, the event has secured Belgium’s recently reunited Oathbreaker, Australian powerviolence band Extortion, Texan metal outfit Portrayal of Guilt (making their Australian debut), Melbourne’s The Broderick, and fellow Belgian act Wiegedood.
Additionally, some of the country’s finest, fastest-rising heavy acts, including Ends In Tragedy, Blind Girls, Isua, and Melting, will set the stage.
Beyond live music, the festival will feature Homewrecker Records, an exclusive pop-up record store installation designed by visual artist Callum Preston, plus live artist Q&As hosted by the Oblivious Maximus podcast, market stalls, food trucks, and more.
With only 2,000 tickets available, Lucidity promises an in-demand, once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans of metalcore, hardcore, and punk music. Pre-sale tickets will be available on Monday, 19 October, at 9 am AEDT, followed by the general sale on Wednesday, 21 October, at 9 am AEDT.
You can find more ticketing information and register for pre-sale via the Lucidity Fest website.
Converge, Oathbreaker, The Broderick, and Wiegedood are performing exclusively at Lucidity Fest next March, with the first three bands commemorating anniversaries of their iconic records.
Converge are celebrating the 25th anniversary of Jane Doe, Oathbreaker are commemorating ten years of Rheia, and The Broderick are spotlighting 15 years of Free to Rot, Free of Sin.
With a rare and exclusive performance of Jane Doe, Converge return to Australia for the first time since 2019. Oathbreaker and Portrayal of Guilt will make their Australian debuts, while Wiegedood return to our shores for the first time since performing at Direct Underground Festival in 2018.
