British pop star Conor Maynard has announced his first Australian tour to celebrate the release of his newest single, If I Ever

Initially rising to fame in 2012 when he won MTV's Brand New for 2012 award, competing alongside Delilah, Michael Kiwanuka, Lana Del Rey, and Lianne La Havas, Maynard has gone from strength to strength, earning the mentorship of Ne-Yo, signing to Parlophone and releasing his debut album Contrast which catapulted him to international stardom.

He is considered one of the first homegrown talents that transitioned from online to IRL superstar, proving the power for digital audiences while breaking new ground for countless other upcoming artists.

Now, ten years later, and with a lot of experience under his belt, Maynard has decided to try a new route, attempting to tackle the music business on his own. Leaving his longtime record label, Maynard has been able to reach new staggering heights: Spotify streams of his music surpassed 2 billion, and he has quickly become the 7th most followed TikTok music account in the UK, despite only joining the platform in 2020. The decision allowed him to bring his music to new, adventurous heights, with a sense of artistic liberation at the heart of his new material.

His new single, If I Ever, is a direct result of his creative release and allows fans to delve deeper into the pop-stars world. Filled with danceable beats, a catchy melody and Maynard's incredible voice, it's on track to be one of his biggest releases yet.
