Comedy Duo Named As Hit 100.9’s New Breakfast Team

“I’m stoked to be moving to Hobart with my best mate."

Longtime pals and comedians, Jimmy Smith and Nathan Roye will be the new face of breakfast on Hobart’s Hit 100.9 next year.

They’ll take over the airwaves from 6am – 9am weekdays as of January 29.

“I’m stoked to be moving to Hobart with my best mate (that’s Nath). I’ve always wanted to do the Sydney to Hobart,” Smith said.

"Before we got offered the job, I got a tattoo on my bum that says ‘Hobart is home’... risky, but it paid off,” Roye added.

Southern Cross Austereo’s Hobart General Manager Ally Bradley said the announcement was aimed at bringing a “fresh sound to Hobart”.
