'90s Act Color Me Badd Member Arrested On Assault Charge After On-stage Band Fight

Color Me Badd member Bryan Abrams has been arrested after shoving bandmate Mark Calderon to the ground during a performance in New York this past weekend. 

As Billboard reports, footage shows Abrams walk on stage following the '90s group's performance of I Wanna Sex You Up and push Calderon down, who was reportedly then taken to hospital after suffering neck and back injuries from the fall. 

Abrams was arrested for attempted assault in the third degree and jailed on $US2,000 bond.

Speaking to WHEC, Calderon said he was "confused" by the incident and claims that Abrams was drunk before the trio kicked off the show and left the stage after just the second song.

"It just happened so fast," Calderon said.

"Groups have craziness going on but you don’t have to let everyone see it. He was drunk, intoxicated and who knows what else."

Calderon continued, "He blindsided me. Next thing I knew, I was on the ground. I didn't know what happened. He’s tried to reach out to me but as of right now, now’s not the time for me to talk to him." 

"Really concerned for his health because this has been going on for a while now," Calderon adds. “He’s an amazing man, a great person, he really is, but when he starts drinking he’s a monster."
