UPDATE: Coal Chamber Bassist Daughter Clears Up Confusion Around Missing Reports

It was originally reported that Coal Chamber's Rayna Foss disappeared in September.

UPDATE 07/01/22: Following reports that Rayna Foss had been missing for months, the former Coal Chamber bassist's daughter, Kayla, has posted to Instagram, stating that she was never missing:

As Fox8 reports, Police have also confirmed that they have located Foss' whereabouts.

Rayna Foss, founding member and former bassist of ‘90s nu-metal outfit Coal Chamber, has reportedly been missing for months.

As Heavy Consequence reports, Foss was reported missing in September by the New Orleans Police Department, living at a group home at the time of her disappearance.

At the time, Fox8 shared the below information:

“MISSING: Rayna Foss, 51, was last seen by a group home manager on Sept. 7, according to NOPD (New Orleans Police Department). Foss is described as being 5-foot-3 and 200 pounds. There is no last known clothing description available. Anyone with additional information on Foss’ whereabouts is asked to contact NOPD Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070.”

Foss was a founding member of Coal Chamber and with the band until they broke up in 2003. She was not part of the group’s reunion in 2011.

She appeared on Coal Chamber’s first three albums, the band’s 1997 self-titled debut album, 1999’s Chamber Music and 2002’s Dark Days.
