Thank you, Netflix.

If you're a Netflix subscriber then you probably spent the better half of last December and the start of 2016 locked in your lounge room binge-watching Making A Murderer and, when it was all over, you came out of said lounge room with more emotions than any normal person can deal with. Well, prepare to feel those feelings all over again because Netflix have just announced new episodes of the documentary are on the way.

Executive producers/directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos are currently in production for the new series which will provide an in-depth look at the post-conviction process on both Steven Avery and his co-defendant Brendan Dassey.

The new episodes will also offer exclusive access to Avery's new lawyer, Kathleen Zellner. and Dassey's legal team.

"We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series," Ricciardi and Demos said in a statement.

"The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold."

A release date is yet to be announced for the new series, but keep your eyes glued on theMusic.com.au as more details come to light.
