City And Colour (aka Dallas Green) is returning to Australia—his nineteenth tour down under—in January 2025, alongside Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, another favourite in Australia.

In addition to touring with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, the pair will be joined by special guest Alex Lahey on their East Coast and Adelaide dates, while Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys will open the Perth show.

The tour begins at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Tuesday, 14 January, followed by Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (Thursday, 16 January), Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl (Saturday, 18 January), Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre (Monday, 20 January), and wraps up at Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium on Thursday, 23 January. All shows aside from Perth are licenced to fans of all ages, while the Perth show is licenced 13+.

Frontier Members can access pre-sale tickets on Tuesday, 24 September, at 10 am local time, followed by the general sale on Wednesday, 25 September, at 11 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

City And Colour last toured Australia in January and February 2023, performing in more intimate venues and at SummerSalt festival locations across the country. He also performed with the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire (vocals, guitar, keyboards), the band he co-founded in 2001.

To date, Dallas Green has already performed 18 times in Australia—10 times as City And Colour and eight times with Alexisonfire.

Having established himself as one of Australia's favourite international singer/songwriters, City And Colour's catalogue of deeply emotional and affecting songs will be the perfect soundtrack to the summer in outdoor venues.

The tour arrives after City And Colour released his seventh album, The Love Still Held Me Near, last year, while Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are touring in support of their latest album, South Of Here.

Ahead of the group’s performance at Bluesfest Byron Bay in 2023, Rateliff told The Music in an interview, “It’s always amazing to travel the world and run into friends. I love Australia. It seems exotic to me, even though it probably doesn't to you [laughs] - but, you know, I live in the mountains, so it's very different.

“Just getting there is a bit of a feat, with jet lag and all the travel. It really makes you want to work hard for your shows, like, you travel all this way. You want to make sure that it's worth it.”
