City And Colour Goes Gold As Shock Signs Chopper Read

Shock Records are celebrating two very different pieces of news today, with the announcements that City And Colour's latest album has gone gold and the signing of the notorious Mark 'Chopper' Read.

Starting with the least 'out there' of the two, Little Hell was released through the record label last year and has been City And Colour's (real name Dallas Green) most successful yet. The album also peaked at number #2 on the ARIA charts. The news caps off a fantastic year for the artist, who is currently touring Canada and North America.

Now onto Australia's most famous ex-con, Mark 'Chopper' Read. He has signed a record deal that will see him release a collection of prison song covers. The album is expected to be released in February 2013. Watch this space!
