Dallas Green is coming back atcha with his first new album since 2011

More City & Colour More City & Colour

City and Colour, the solo moniker of Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, has just announced a new record, The Hurry & The Harm, will be released on May 31.

This will be the fourth release from the former Alexisonfire vocalist. It follows on from his 2011 album Little Hell, which debuted at #2 in Australia and went on to be certified Gold. In order to match the high musical standards set by past efforts, Green recruited an experienced band to back him on The Hurry & The Harm, which features contributions from members of The Dead Weather, Fiona Apple, My Morning Jacket and Caitlin Rose. There's also some pretty boss album artwork:

City And Colour - The Hurry & The Harm

True to the tortured artists's thousand-yard stare Green displays on the cover, has this to say of the new record's music: “I don't have a lot of faith in myself, so it is hard for me to have a lot of faith in something I have created. But I've never been happier or prouder about something that I have done.” Check out the full tracklist:
