His talent as a mix engineer is evident across an epic resume, having mixed and produced some of the most famous records of all time, and he's heading to Sydney next month to put on a masterclass so you can learn from the best of the best.
Taking place at Studios 301 on 10 January, Lord-Alge will walk through his techniques step-by-step with attendees who are encouraged to bring a track of their own to work on.
Winning five Grammy Awards, Lord-Alge boasts an enormous credit list with names like Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Avril Lavigne, Cher, Muse, Celine Dion, Michael Bublé, Aerosmith, Madonna, Green Day, Meat Loaf, U2, Snow Patrol, Sheryl Crow, Savage Garden, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Black Eyed Peas, The Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins, James Brown, Eric Clapton, Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters and My Chemical Romance.
"Very excited to come [to] the mothership Down Under," he told The Music ahead of the event.
"It's been a while since I set foot in 301."
