UK new wave legends China Crisis have announced they will head to Australia this year for their first ever tour of the country. 

The Liverpool duo are set to arrive in August for headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. 

Formed in 1979 by Gary Daly and Eddie Lundon, China Crisis went on to produce a number of hit tracks throughout the '80s, including Wishful Thinking, Black Man Ray, Arizona Sky and King in a Catholic Style.


General public tickets for the tour go on sale from midday (local time) on Monday 3 February.
