The renowned event series returns to Liberty Social once more in September
Following the successful return of the venerated LAWWD #00 parties at stalwart Melburnian venue The Liberty Social, the second monthly installation — LAWWD #002 — looks set to keep up the early trend with the revelation of devilishly skilled up-and-comer Chiefs as the guest act for the evening.
The precocious Aussie has been turning heads since mid-2013, when through a series of singles and remixes he emerged as one of the country's most intriguing new electronic acts. It was a status cemented by his debut effort Reign Dance later in the year, via Die High Records, which took him onto the radars of local and international radio stations, including FBi and triple j at home, as well as being hit up for press time by several discerning outlets.
If you care for a demonstration, check out this mini-mix that he has curated especially for LAWWD #002 to give you an idea of his deep and varied talents:
Chiefs has a bunch of upcoming official remixes to whip up, as well as a collaborative EP with vocalist Nick Acquroff on the table sometime this year, so before he starts getting too busy and battens down for a while, if you're in the area, take the opportunity to hit The Liberty Social for LAWWD #002 on Saturday, September 6.
