Chi Cheng’s family considers stem cell therapy

The family of former Deftones bassist Chi Cheng are considering stem cell therapy options in an effort to better aid the musician’s recovery.Cheng has been receiving extensive treatment as a result of a serious car accident in 2008, with reports stating the bassist is currently “in a partially conscious state and is unable to speak.”According to Revolver, Cheng’s family is considering the stem cell therapy option.

According to Revolver, Cheng’s family is considering the stem cell therapy option.

"Once his health gets a little better, we'll start looking into other options...but they don't even do it (stem cell therapy) in the US yet.

"It's a miracle he's still with us. He's alive and kicking and he's fighting, and I think there's a reason for it. I'm hoping there's a light at the end of the tunnel for Chi,”
Chi’s brother Ming said.
