More Chet Faker More Chet Faker

Ubiquitous Aussie singer-songwriter Chet Faker is a couple weeks out from commencing his Built On Live east-coast arena tour, at which he'll focus on acclaimed full-length Built On Glass, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been keeping busy with new pursuits since the album's release.

In fact, he's just unveiled a brand new four-track collaborative EP with South London-based DJ Marcus Marr, with whom Faker spent four days in the studio earlier this year, coming out the other side with the new release, titled Work.

The pair have offered up the first taste of the release in the form of super-danceable, funky new cut The Trouble With Us, an aural mosaic of reverb- and delay-dappled, poppin'-fresh guitar tones, impactful bass, straitlaced & purposeful percussion and, of course, Faker's soulful strains sitting capably atop it all. Give it a whirl below.

Chet Faker and Marcus Marr's Work EP will be released on Friday 4 December via Detail Records. The Trouble With Us is available as a single now on iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp.
