Band announces tour dates and new release with producer John Merchant

Queensland six-piece band Cheap Fakes are about to release a new single as they announce a string of Australian tour dates in March and April.

Recorded with John Merchant, the band’s new single Just In Case will be out on 16, Mar ahead of their third album Modern Vintage (set for release in June). Merchant has previously worked with Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, The Bee Gees and Barbara Streisand.

Cheap Fakes have previously supported rock duo The Black Keys and New Zealand band Kora on tour. 

Their new tour kicks off on 21, Mar at The Hi-Fi in Brisbane and finishes up in the Gold Coast on 17, Apr.
