UK-based electronic music firebrands Chase & Status are heading to Australia this June, last night announcing a one-off, exclusive performance in Perth.
The duo are presenting their brand-new immersive event experience, Section 63, which will debut at three world-first shows. In addition to Perth, they’ll present the show in London and Tilburg, Netherlands, later this year.
The pair’s Perth show is a major coup, not just for Australia, but across New Zealand and the Southern Hemisphere. The exclusive, never-before-seen performance will take place at the Robinson Pavilion on Thursday, 25 June.

Discussing Section 63, the band offered the following elusive statement: “This section applies to a gathering at which amplified music is played.” So, as a press release indicates, the new performance isn’t like any other show. Instead, it’s an experience.

Section 63 will find Chase & Status opening a new chapter in their musical journey, evolving the traditional DJ show into something different. Very little information about the concept has been revealed, but the duo add that it’s set to be one of their most ambitious projects to date.
No other cities in the Southern Hemisphere will host the Section 63 show, making the Perth event not only exclusive but also an unmissable opportunity to see the new concept unfold on Australian shores.
In addition to unveiling plans to promote Section 63, Chase & Status recently released the new single Homework featuring Lancey Foux. The track marks their third single of the year, and there’s plenty more to come.
