Charlie Threads Is Releasing His Second Mixtape

An audio daydream from one of Melbourne's best young producers

Following on from the acclaimed first single Put Em Up (Fucking Anthem), rapper and producer Charlie Threads is releasing the rest of his second mixtape, titled Palm Trees In Graveyards, next Tuesday (7 June).

The title depicts Threads' departure from the dark, and dusty bedroom feel of his debut Incognito toward the keys, warm boom-bap sound and subtle meoldies heard in his current output.

The concept of progressing out of a particular mind state is explored thoroughly on the project's 12 tracks, something that's mirrored in the brooding, sketchy feel of Doug Bennett's (Good Stuff Co) cover art.
