Charlie Parr Is Making A Return To Australia

With his newest, Stumpjumper

More Charlie Parr Charlie Parr
In support of his latest album release, American roots marvel Charlie Parr will once again hit Australian shores for a tour that will begin in late February.

Originally inspired by the tunes of Charley Patton and Lightnin’ Hopkins, Parr’s musical conviction runs deep. His heartfelt tunes and unique vocal style are expressed accordingly on his latest album, Stumpjumper, that features ten original tracks plus an earnest rendition of murder ballad Delia.

Stumpjumper, his second album in as many years, marks the Minnesota native’s first release with Red House Records - an American indie label mostly concerned with folk and roots music - and is a perfect fit for Parr’s authentic and hearty ballads.

The tour will make stops in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne including a handful of shows in regional New South Wales and Victoria.
