Channel 7 Confirm New Olivia Newton-John Biopic To Air This Year

Channel Seven has unveiled plans for an upcoming Olivia Newton-John project on the station this year, with Seven's director of Programming Angus Ross confirming — though somewhat vaguely — that it is in the pipeline.

He told TV Tonight that following the successes of mini-series like Molly, Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door and INXS: Never Tear Us Apart, there would be "a couple of other mini-series coming down the pipeline."

Ross teased, "Yes they could be… they will be ready to be on air this year. But that’s not all of it.

"We don’t come out with pages of information of what we’re up to. We don’t show all of our hand. We have a lot of stuff coming that wasn’t even mentioned..."
