This week has really been about two things: the Melbourne Cup and the aftermath of some mint Halloween outfit choices (refer to Taylor Swift as Frozen's Olaf). While many praised the fact that this year's Cup saw its first ever female jockey winner, there were just as many who still condemn not only the race that stops the nation, but the entire sport as well.
