It all happens this weekend

Well-regarded food-and-drink-specials app/website The Happiest Hour is turning 13 years old, and to commemorate its breach into puberty, it's holding a big day of cricket, cheer and consuming as much as humanly possible this weekend.

THH will host its birthday party in collaboration with Big Day Not Out, a 16-pub-strong cricket competition, in order to set up their own bar and beer garden at Brunswick Street Oval this Sunday, 5 February, for an all-day shindig from 9.30am-8pm.

The affair will be catered by an array of culinary favourites, including the legends at Mountain Goat Beer, The Hills Cider and Atticus Finch, with all money raised being forwarded on to beyondblue.

"It's a perfect fit for us," the THH crew said in a statement. "A day of average-quality cricket, and high-quality craft beer and food.

"It's really warming that the pubs have supported us by offering thousands of dollars of prizes the last few weeks on social media. Since all money raised goes to beyondblue, the pub community has really joined together."
