The Welsh indie-rock darlings will make their main-event debut Down Under in January
Just under two months out from making their inaugural journey to Australia as tour supports for The Kooks, Welsh indie rock outfit Catfish And The Bottlemen have announced a pair of headline dates, in Sydney and Melbourne, when they're in the region in January.
The buzz-worthy band will take to Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Monday, January 19, supported by Food Court, before heading southward to Melbourne's Hi-Fi on Sunday, January 25, where they'll be joined by APES. Although next year's trip will be the group's first to the antipodes, savvy listeners will no doubt already be familiar with the swiftly rising act, whose recent single Cocoon is doing regular business for them on triple j, with previous singles turning heads back in Britain and nabbing them airplay on stations such as BBC Radio 1. With festival slots, debut LP The Balcony and a burgeoning live reputation behind them to boot, Catfish And The Bottlemen are well placed to make their mark on Aussie audiences come January.
Tickets for Catfish And The Bottlemen's 2015 headline shows are available for pre-sale as of this morning, with general-release passes going on sale this Wednesday, December 3. See theGuide or check The Music App for more information.
