Cat PowerAtlanta indie artist Cat Power has just been added to the monstrous Sydney Festival line-up, but will also play her own intimate headlining shows while she's here too.
Along with her Sydney dates, the singer-songwriter, real name Chan Marshall, will perform in Melbourne, Fremantle, Canberra (her first show in our capital in 10 years), a debut performance in Gippsland at the Meeniyan Town Hall, as well as two very special shows in Milton, on the south coast of NSW.
Supporting her is Dirty Three guitarist and fellow Sydney Festival performer Mick Turner, who will be in tow bringing either his solo act or his full band with him, playing the majority of the shows on the tour.
