Another new space has opened up in inner-Sydney.

Among all the drama surrounding Sydney live music venues at this point in time, it's exciting to hear about a new space looking to add another space for acts to play. Paddington's Captain Cook Hotel on the corner of Flinders Street and Moore Park Road is one of those iconic pubs that the city is renowned for and it's looking to host live, original music real soon.

The pub, which has been open since 1885, is currently undergoing something of a makeover, but when that is finished it will open as a 150-200 capacity boutique venue suitable for a variety of original music.

The new space will be booked by Brett Hlywa, who has previously worked as a publicist for the ARIA Awards and currently books entertainment for the National Rugby League. Artists, managers, booking agents, promoters and labels can get in contact with Hlywa on hello@soundadvice.tv.
