CANT SAY Feat. Gigamesh, Generik, Yasumo And More

Well don't we have something special for you on the 5th of October. That's right, CANT SAY is hosting GIGAMESH for the only Melbourne stop of his upcoming Australian tour.

Born Matt Masurka, Gigamesh is a multi-platinum selling music producer and DJ. Most recognised for his remix work on some of the biggest indie hits in the past 12 months, (including Foster The People, Grouplove and Theophilus London) he is quickly becoming one of the most known names in the indie-dance scene. Not only have these remixes been played across the world in clubs across the world, they have gained the attention of the king of indie-electro labels, Kitsune -  which resulted in them inviting him to perform on several dates of their highly-anticipated 2012 U.S. Club Night tour alongside Crystal Fighters and Housse De Racket.

Expect to hear a massive party set, filled with the aforementioned remixes, the huge originals from his recently released, All My Life EP, as well as the bootleg reworks he first gained exposure for. Everything from Michael Jackson to New Order to The Clash to Stardust has been covered by Masurka in the past, and this multi-platinum selling producer and frequent member of The Hype Machine's popular chart #1 spot has plenty more tricks up his magical sleeve

GENERIK has clocked up enough frequent flyer miles to be the first DJ to play on the moon (in the not so distant future). He is definitely Aussie bred yet a citizen of the world, and he has spent most of his adult life either DJing at a party, being at a party or on an aircraft going to a party.

His name might sound a little un-cool to the virgin ear, but lets put it this way – Generik is a pillar of cool and will continue to share and spill his ice cool aura wherever he plays. We also believe he is currently trying to the trademark the word “cool”, and as far as we can tell – he will do it.

YASUMO are CANT SAY favourites, having played at the club more times than we can count. But who can blame us, their unique style of Disco/Funk/French-house, keeps the dancefloor filled with sweaty people doing ridiculous things, every single time. How do they do it? To put it simply, they are ‘Putting [their] own spin on the music [they] love…’ - and it seems like it's working pretty damn well right now.
