Experimental tropical-funk at its finest.
Canberra-based experimental tropical-funk quartet Young Monks have confirmed a run of headline dates for this July in support of their debut album, Swamp Creek.
Set for release June 29 via Bad Bad Records/UNIFIED, Swamp Creek, as the band describes, “reflects on the naturalistic world and its relationship with the individual mind, pondering existence, importance of self and the revelatory nature of natural psychosomatic agents.”
It features new party starting single Supersonic Melodies, which has already garnered a wealth of praise only a few days after release.
The band’s album tour kicks off with a hometown show before taking on the rest of the East Coast; check out theGuide for all the details.
