The tour takes on 24 shows
This March and April, Canadian folk act Vishtèn are set to tour Australia with their brand new album and fifth studio release, Terre Rouge.
For a whole decade, the band have been constantly touring and making music in the unique style of traditional French and Celtic music, although they mix this with modern rock. Ahead of the Australian tour, the Canadian trio reflect on their new music and their thoughts about being on the road again,
"We wanted to be just musicians again for a while, to think only about the music," says a third of the trio, Pastelle LeBlanc.
The massive 24-date tour starts in Melbourne on 2 March, before heading to venues throughout NSW and VIC in March. Stopping for five days at Canberra's National Folk Festival, the tour finally wraps up a full month later in Grenfell, NSW.
