AUSTRALIAN TOUR - AUGUST 2008
LOCAL SUPPORTS ANNOUNCED!
Years
of relentless touring have resulted in German metalcore group CALIBAN
gaining a huge reputation among the international hardcore/metal scene.
This August, CALIBAN bring their uniquely mind-blowing metal to
Australian audiences and along for the ride is Melbourne hardcore
heavyweights, HER NIGHTMARE. As anticipation builds and tickets run
scarce, local supports have been announced!
The
tour kicks off in Brisbane with hardcore favorites AGAINST and SIRENS
supporting at the Princess Theatre on Wednesday 13 August for an all
ages show, then STATE OF INTEGRITY and SUFFER SOME MORE at Club 299 on
Thursday 14 August for an over 18 show.
Supporting CALIBAN and HER NIGHTMARE in Sydney will be DROPSAW and NO
LOVE LOST. They play together at Manning Bar on Friday 15 August to a
licensed all ages crowd.
In Melbourne, the tour
plays two shows (under 18 afternoon show, over 18 evening show) at the
iconic Corner Hotel on Saturday 16 August with support from THE
SEDUCTION and HIROSHIMA WILL BURN.
Rounding out
the tour is Adelaide on Sunday 17 August at Fowlers with CALIBAN, HER
NIGHTMARE, ABANDON ALL HOPE and CLOSED CASKET.
Melbourne band HER NIGHTMARE
will be sharing the stage with CALIBAN in all states, showcasing their
new album 'Come Anarchy Come Ruin' (out now on Resist Records). The
album was recorded in the States with the legendary producer Zeuss
(Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, Terror, Madball) and has taken the band to
what their debut release 'No Heaven, No Hell' hinted at. HER NIGHTMARE
is the toughest sounding hardcore band in Australia, making them the
perfect addition to what would already be a must see show.
