We don't feel we should have to tell you who the Buzzcocks are and why their inclusion on the Hoodoo Gurus' Dig It Up! line up (and the sideshows that have been announced this morning) is so brilliant. Not when the power of the Internet means that you can have infectious gems like this...

...and this...

...in your ears instead.

A point that must be made here is that the Buzzcocks are still a pretty excellent live band. Sure, the songs of all of these classic punk rock bands will most likely live on for a long time, but not all of them are up to scratch on the live stage; Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle still are.

The band have announced the following sideshows this morning, tickets are on sale from Monday 25 February. You should definitely go.
