Buried Country: Live In Concert, the touring stageshow version of Clinton Walker's groundbreaking book, film and album Buried Country: The Story of Aboriginal Country Music, is playing live in concert at Playhouse, premiering 20 August.
Buried Country is the ultimate celebration of Aboriginal country music, bringing together an huge cast of singers and songwriters from across generations and geography, performing a selection of the genre's greatest hits. Leading the house band The Backtrackers is musical director Brendan Gallagher.
At once sad, resolute and joyous, the show ensures that the music, songs and stories live on.
