"I know they can take him to a global audience."
Local buzz act Budjerah has announced he's inked a deal with Warner Records in the US.
The announcement comes off the back of a huge year for the 19-year-old Coodjinburra artist, who released his debut single just 11 months ago and shared his debut, self-titled EP in May.
“It’s really amazing to be working with Warner Records! I’m really grateful for the opportunity they’ve given me to reach more people with my music and I’m even more excited for what’s to come!" said Budjerah of the deal.
"I’m thrilled to partner with Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Schuck and the whole Warner Records team to help grow Budjerah’s fan base and career in the US," added Dan Rosen, President of Warner Music Australasia.
"I know they can take him to a global audience. Budjerah is destined for big things and we cannot wait to see him take the next step in his career."
"Everyone at Warner Records is excited to partner with our friends in Australia on such an amazing artist," said Aaron Bay-Schuck, CEO & co-chairman, and Tom Corson, COO & co-chairman, Warner Records.
