He covers The Saints!
Bruce Springsteen will release a new album called High Hopes just weeks before he hits Australian shores again in February, it has been announced today
The record will feature 12 tracks, with some new songs, some re-recordings and a couple of cover versions all included.
Spotify recently premiered a recording of Springsteen playing the bleak electro-punk band Suicide's 1979 classic Dream Baby Dream, it features on the album as does lead single High Hopes, a cover of The Havalinas 1990 track of the same name. That track is expected to drop in the next couple of hours.
At Springsteen's first show in Brisbane this year, he covered The Saints' 1987 single Just Like Fire Would; it will also appear on the new album.
