EXCLUSIVE: Brisbane's Live It Up Festival Adds A Stage, More Acts

Northlane and Bombs Away join the bill.

More Northlane More Northlane

It seems the special under 18s event that is Brisbane's Live It Up has been met with a far more positive repsonse than anticipated, tickets for the festival flying out the door.

Its first announcement was a cracker and was followed by a very tidy second round of acts. That was to be the final announcement, but given the immense popularity of the event thus far the organisers have added an extra stage, increased the event's capacity and added three killer new acts to the bill.

Sydney's self-described galactic-core outfit Northlane, bass heavy party starters Bombs Away and DJ Tom Piper are the three new acts on the line up - both of them seriously big Australian names to add to the bill that already includes the likes of The Amity Affliction, Pez and The Getaway Plan.

This will be a massive show for Northlane in particular - perhaps the biggest since the release of their new album Singularity, which they revelaed in mysterious fashion recently. Though after a solid showing at the Soundwave Festivals recently, they're well and truly up to the task.
