Brisbane's FOMO Festival To Expand To Sydney & Adelaide In 2017

Line-up coming soon!

Following an acclaimed inaugural outing in Brisbane earlier this year, emergent boutique festival FOMO has announced its intention to hold events in Sydney and Adelaide in 2017.

Built around the conceit that no music fan should have to fear missing out on acts because of overstuffed stages and poorly considered schedules, the single-stage, clash-free FOMO is set to hit Adelaide on 6 January, Brisbane on 7 January, and Sydney on 8 January.

Although there's understandably no sign of the line-up yet, organisers are promising that we'll see some heavy-duty locals and internationals on the bill when it does get revealed, including some festival-exclusive performances. With 2016's inaugural event boasting performances from Flight Facilities, Jamie xx, Boyz Noize, Skepta, Keys N Krates, Tkay Maidza, Anna Lunoe, UV Boi  and more, it's probably a solid bet that 2017's sophomore effort will have no problems at all in the quality stakes.

For those who are happy to place their trust entirely in the hands of the event's curators, a one-week-only special dubbed the NO-FOMO Ticket will give the most faithful of the festival's flock to score a cut-price pass in exchange for not waiting around to see who's on the bill, with Adelaide punters looking at $59 for a ticket, and Brisbane and Sydney $79, before the prices rise upon general release.
