Fortitude Valley is set to come alive with the sounds of free live music this weekend

This weekend's Mountain Goat Valley Crawl is bearing down swiftly, with more than 20 bands set to take over four venues across Brisbane's Fortitude Valley precinct this Saturday.

To help attendees better wrap their head around the logistics of the whole deal, organisers have unveiled the timetable plan for the evening's proceedings and, though clashes were evidently unavoidable, they've done a pretty darn respectable job of spacing things out to enable ease of transit between venues and maximised party time.

The venue line-ups pan out to five bands per property — Black Bear Lodge will host Bryce Schneider, Shifting Sands, Tempura Nights, BANFF and Babaganouj; The Foundry features Flowertruck, Forevr, Good Boy, Twin Haus and The Creases; The Brightside will welcome Stateside, Bugs, Machine Age, MKO SUN and Forever Ends Here; and The Zoo will play home to Deluso, Hound, Baskervillain, Ayla and Jeremy Neale.

Shows at the Black Bear Lodge and The Brightside occupy the same time slots, as do those on offer at The Foundry and The Zoo.
