A month after Brisbane Festival unveiled its extensive programming for its 2025 event, the contemporary music program has arrived in its entirety.

The Music previously reported on the program’s launch, including the Tivoli In The Round, which features a stellar line-up of diverse acts, including the reunited Phantastic Ferniture, Odd Mob, C.W. Stoneking, and sets from Wolters, Franck, and Juice Romance.

Plus, there’s the inaugural Night At The Parkland series starring Icehouse, Lime Cordiale with Jack River, Xavier Rudd, Amy Shark, Grinspoon, Cut Copy with KLP, and James Johnston, as well as additional highly anticipated shows by John Butler, Sarah Blasko, UK rising stars Wunderhorse, melodic stalwarts Winston Surfshirt, and more.

With the remaining dates, venues, and more acts announced, we now know that Mallrat will kick off this year’s Tivoli In The Round series on Friday, 5 September, and Indo Warehouse plays the last show on Saturday, 27 September.

Performers on this year’s line-up will perform at venues including The Tivoli, the Princess Theatre, Brisbane Powerhouse, Brisbane Serenades (multiple spaces), and Night At The Parkland. You can find the complete breakdown of artists, their dates, and venues below.

Brisbane Festival takes over the city from Friday, 5 September, to Saturday, 27 September. Tickets to events—excluding sold-out shows for John Butler, Sarah Blasko, and Wunderhorse—are on sale now via the festival website.

In a statement, Brisbane Festival Artistic Director Louise Bezzina—marking her final program with the event this year—said: “This year’s program is a love letter to Brisbane—bold, joyful, and created with and for the city.

“My final festival is a celebration of everything Brisbane Festival has become: a world-class event with a fiercely local heart.

“From world premieres to deeply resonant community works, this year’s program is ambitious in scale and grounded in storytelling, deeply connected to the people and places that make this city so special. As the city comes alive this September, I welcome everyone to take their place in the story.”
