New acts also join the bill!
With uncertainty plaguing events across the country, the team behind Hidden Lanes have announced with “great elation” that this weekend’s festival will proceed as planned.
The festival will see laneways and businesses across Fortitude Valley come alive with local music this Saturday, August 14.
A statement from organisers said that: “To make this possible the event will follow the Queensland Government stage two mandatory guidelines which includes: using the COVID-19 check-in, wearing masks both indoor and outdoor, being seated when eating and drinking and strictly no dancing.”
Alongside news the event will go ahead, it’s been confirmed that more artists have joined the bill, including rising hip hop star Sachem and Sunshine Coast punks The Chats, who will do a DJ set at The Zoo.
Acts confirmed in previous months include VOIID, Connor Brooker, Buttercats and more.
It’s expected the timetable will be released later this week via the Hidden Lanes Festival socials.
