The Third Brisbabes Event at Foundry Hosts Femme-Fatale Cast

Brisbabes has announced another takeover of The Foundry with another stellar line-up jam-packed with some of the Qld capital's finest female performers this April.

Past Brisbabes events have been memorable occasions in themselves, with an ever-growing fan base rallying around the local female-centric shindigs. Already there are five diverse acts signed up and ready to take stage, including the nu-RnB vibes of Romy, the dreamy shoegaze sounds of Cheers G’day, soul band Inigo, heavenly synth-pop act Post-Dusk and indie-blues-rock crew Deena.

Brisbabes creator/director Emma Jones said in a statement that the impending third event is shaping up to be their biggest one so far.

“The last two have been bigger and better than we ever hoped for, so I can’t wait to see what number three holds!” she enthused.

As with previous Brisbabes events, there are no gender-based entry conditions for coming along and enjoying the evening, but organisers are asking punters to have an open and inclusive mind in order to ensure all attendees are better able to have a great time.

Brisbabes kicks off Friday, 22 April, at The Foundry. Doors open 8pm. Tickets are on sale from today; head to Oztix to secure your pass.
