Slabs For Jabs: This Much-loved Bris Venue Is Handing Out Free Beers If You've Had The Vax

Legendary Brisbane venue The Brightside has announced a very happy hour for patrons next week, with free beers for anyone who has had their first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Announcing the news via Facebook yesterday, the Fortitude Valley bar said the incentive is a small price to pay to get locals up to date with the vital vaccinations.

"The Brightside is putting on free beers for two hours on the 3rd of September if you have had either your first or second jab between 5pm - 7pm," they said.

"The only way that we can get back to opening things up is if we all get vaccinated rates higher to get on top of this virus. 

"We want full capacities back and we want to see international and touring bands quicker. Get it done and see you on the 3rd of September Bris."
