"Tremendous effort."
It’s been a big year for Aussie hip hop maestro Briggs, and he’ll be ending it with a literal bang after being confirmed to soundtrack the Melbourne New Year’s Eve fireworks show.
As SBS reports, Briggs has curated a 10-minute soundtrack for the City of Melbourne event, with his playlist accompanying a 14-tonne fireworks display that includes more than 36,500 effects across 22 rooftops.
The soundtrack was a collaborative effort with DJ and producer Jaytee Hazard.
“There's one song in there I can't believe snuck through. Tremendous effort,” Briggs said via Twitter.
You can catch Briggs at Falls Festival later this month; check out theGuide for all the details.
