They'll be the four-piece's first-ever Aussie headline shows
Acclaimed roots-rock-inflected four-piece Houndmouth have announced a pair of intimate Sydney and Melbourne headliners in preparation for their appearance at Byron Bay Bluesfest 2016.
The tour will be the first time the band have headlined in Australia, and comes on the back of their breakout single Sedona from their second album Little Neon Twilight (2015). Sedona topped the Billboard Adult Alternative Charts, knocking off the likes of Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters and Men, and George Ezra.
Houndmouth will play on Thursday 24 March at the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, following it up a day later with a show at the Newtown Social Club in Sydney.
The group are scheduled to hit the boards at Bluesfest on Sunday 27 March.
