Fans of Brand New who attended the bands recent discography show in Long Island and have raised a storm on social media after being disappointed by the band's choice not to play Deja Entendu in full.
The discography shows feature the band playing two of their albums, chosen by the band on the night, in full, and when presented with 'The Devil & God Are Raging Inside of Me' and 'Daisy,' fans made their disapproval known.

"Believe it or not, it’s actually pretty easy to not act like an entitled asshole.
There are a lot of Brand New fans out there. Brand New may even be your favorite band. Every time we at PropertyOfZack post a news article about Brand New, at least 75% of the responses are about begging the band to:
1) Tour again
2) Release new music
3) Play their albums in full
4) Actually do something you want them to do
So when you take those four notions into consideration, Brand New actually pleased a bunch of people by announcing four discography shows last month. Sure, it bummed a hell of a lot of people out that the band wasn’t doing a full tour, but the lucky citizens of California, New York, and New Jersey felt truly blessed. Brand New was going to fucking play two albums (remember, just two albums) in front of their very eyes!
You know what Brand New didn’t do? Brand New never once, not even a little bit, confirmed which albums they would be playing at each show. That of course meant, if you could actually read something on the internet, that you should not expect the band to play two specific albums the night you saw them - because they could actually play the exact opposite.
Why are we walking you through all of this? Well, Brand New played Long Island last night. That’s their hometown! Between 1,000 and 2,000 individuals expected the band to play Your Favorite Weapon and Deja Entendu because “Long Island made Brand New, and could take it away, too.” You know where this is going, though. Brand New didn’t play either of those albums last night. And one would imagine they did it because those very same fans who love the band more than anything in the world booed them when they began playing Daisy, an album that most “fans” have a hard time opening their minds too, even if they don’t love it.
This takes us back to the four things every Brand New fan hopes for. Touring, new music, discography shows, and being at your beckon call. Get over it. Don’t act like an asshole. Brand New does the opposite of what you want because you booed them, in their hometown, for playing an album that they poured years of their lives into and that thousands of other people across the world would have paid top dollar for to see. You did this to yourself. And by the way, it was a great set. A truly great set."
