Sydney pop-punk upstarts Heroes for Hire have received the local support slot for the upcoming Boys Like Girls Australian tour.Heroes for Hire join previously announced US band Hot Chelle Rae as the two support acts on the bill. The New South Wales band has already had a productive year playing with a number of local and international groups.“No strangers to the road, HEROES FOR HIRE have already had a hugely impressive 2010, landing slots on the Sydney leg of the Soundwave Festival, Push Over and most recently Come Together, as well as touring nationally with Detroit’s Fireworks. HEROES’ debut album Life Of The Party also came in at #2 on the AIR charts, with lead single “Bright Lights In Paradise” becoming a staple on Triple J,” the tour press release states.
