Boy Soda Releases Smokers Anthem, 'Three Little Piggies' With Jordan Dennis And Charbel

"My housemate Lovemedo started singing this weird kind nursery rhyme melody that is now the hook and it inspired me to develop the rest of the concept around The Three Little Pigs / Red Riding Hood stories.”

More Boy Soda Boy Soda

Multi-faceted creative force BOY SODA has today released his newest single 3 Little Piggies alongside Jordan Dennis and Charbel. The track is taken from his forthcoming debut mixtape YC-TAPE: Vol. 1 which is set for release in December.

Earlier this year BOY SODA released hise debut project THE DISTANCE BETWEEEN THINKING AND FEELING before taking a mindset and career changing trip to London where he re-emerged divinely inspired. His new track alongside previously released single Willy Shakespeare ushers in a new this string of new music and cements his new mindset, one that is innovating beyond the general confinements of R&B.

The track is a proud smokers anthem, chatting through the fun times that many have had, sitting around and feeling a little bubblier than normal. The track's accompanying music video which was directed by Dexter Lola reflects those moments perfectly, as a group of friends pass around some funny tobacco (allegedly) while the world around them continues to absorb them.

Sonically the track is a soul fuelled g-funk inspired rap cut. BOY SODA goes back and forth with his collaborators and various other characters, showcasing his ability as one of Australia's most exciting creative songwriters.

“I started this song over a beat Finbar had sent me right after I got pulled over on my way home for some random area check during covid. Every lyric in my verse is just a recount of what had happened before, during and after that had happened," he said of the song.
