Festival season is starting to wind down. Soon enough, the temperature will drop and the sun will be a less frequent visitor. So it is time to make the most of the last few official weekends of summer. And, luckily for Adelaide’s music-lovers, Sidebyside festival is sure to help you achieve just that.
Sidebyside is Adelaide’s home for boundary-pushing electronic music, arts, and culture. The event’s organisers evocatively describe it as a “utopian combination of curated electronic music, superb sound systems, and mixed media arts framed by post apocalyptic structures and visual elements.” A curated international line-up of incredible artists are set to take the two different stages at the festival by storm. The parklands will be transformed, and the stages will be set ablaze.
So get ready to bask in the sunshine and eventual moonlight this weekend at Tulya Wardli (Helen Mayo Park). The event officially begins at noon on Saturday, February 22, and should wrap up on the cusp of the next morning.
Don your glitziest outfits and dancing shoes for sidebyside festival for one day only - a magical showcase of creativity, community, and connection in the glorious Adelaide Parklands.
