In an homage to Joe Stump's 1994 album of the same name, Night Of The Living Shred is heading to Melbourne this August.

Held at the Bendigo Hotel, the mini punk rock festival will see Sydney rockers Born Lion lead the charge, their freshly released album Final Words, due out in July, in tow.

Tasmanian punk outfit Captives are also penned on the bill, along with Brittle Bones, Rick Dangerous & The Silkie Bantams, Grindhouse, Hammers, The Workinghorse Irons and Pagan.

The punk rock party will take place on Saturday, 22 August — check out the event's website for more information, and theGuide for details on tickets.
