Bobby Womack Cancels Tonight’s Opera House Performance

Soul legend Bobby Womack has cancelled tonight's performance at the Sydney Opera House due to his health.

A statement released by the venue reads, “We have just been advised due to health reasons, and as a precaution, Bobby Womack will not be performing tonight at 9pm.”

They “fully expect” tomorrow night's show – Saturday 25 May – to go ahead. All of ticket's tickets will be automatically refunded.

The venue said, “We encourage all fans who are able to attend tomorrow's performance to visit sydneyoperahouse.com and book again. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused.”

He was to perform as part of the Vivid LIVE program.
